Games En Route

Thank you for your patience, gentle backer, as we navigate the shipping process and ensure you all receive your games.

A few of you have been asking "Hey, where's my game?" The short answer is: it's on the way to you right now! But here is the slightly longer answer that explains in detail.

The games have been at the distributor for the last couple weeks. Why is that? We have been behind a queue of other game companies in the same boat as us, i.e., hit with shipping delays. Since many different companies' products all arrived at the distributor late and at the same time, this produced what is colloquially known as a clusterfuck. 

However, all that is now behind us. The games actually started to leave the distributor on honest-to-god trucks and are now headed to you. So keep your eyes on your mailbox, porch, neighbor's porch, or wherever you find your packages these days.

Shipping is iminent! 

Today, I'm really happy to tell you that our games are at the distributor and they are being processed for shipping! Hundreds of products will be flying out the doors this coming week, and one of them has your name on it. This an exciting moment, because the games will finally be out in the wild, just in time for the Delta variant to shut down gatherings again.

But seriously, despite a global pandemic, a major west coast shipping traffic jam, goods shortages, worker shortages, and everything else you can think of to throw in our way, we did it. And we couldn't have done it without your support. So thank you again for that, and for baring with us through this process.

The Games Are Clearing Customs As I Type

Hey Backer!

Thank you for your patience as we navigate through clogged shipping lanes and customs backlogs. I am pleased to report that the games are in their final port and clearing customs. All the proper forms have been filed, palms greased, and etc. This means that the games will be processed by our distributor very soon and then shipping can begin. I will be sure to let you know when that happens.

In the meantime, please triple check your status on Backerkit, as I think a few of you still have not completed your surveys! We really want everyone who backed to get their games as soon as possible, and part of that is filling out the survey to make sure we have your shipping information.

Important Shipping Update, New Hosted Experience Dates

Our games are stateside, but with a twist...

I'm pleased to report that our games are now in the USA! Unfortunately, there is a shipping traffic backup on the west coast, which means they are stuck in Long Beach Port and have been there for over a week! This is incredibly frustrating for us, especially as it means we will miss our June shipping date for all of our backers. We know you are excited to play the game with your friends in person... so are we! If there is any comfort in this, it is that a lot of others are in the same boat (pun intended), and a lot of cargo is backed up currently. 

I am told they may move to their final destination next week, but the delay could be 2 weeks or more. We promise to keep you posted, and you will know more when we do.

In the mean time, please feel free to use your complementary online membership to asskills.com. You can play remotely over zoom or together in the same room on separate devices.

Important shipping update: Do we have your current address??

Games are on the move! Do we have your address?

Our games are sailing the high seas on the way to the U.S.A.! This means we are about to lock in your orders on BackerKit, so consider this your last chance to change your order. About 30 of you have paid us for games but not updated their address in BackerKit! This means we cannot ship to you. If you received a notification from BackerKit in your email today, it's critical you click the link to give us your address. Your orders will lock on Friday, so make sure your information is up to date and correct.

Shipping Date Update

There was a very short delay due to a backup of shipping vessels at the port, so some of you will not receive your game in June. We're really sorry about this, but it was beyond our control. The games are en route and will be arriving on the west coast on or about 6/25.  However, our distributor needs to intake, process, and ship it out to all of you, and all this takes time. This means the very first games may arrive by our original June deadline, but others will certainly receive it in early July.  Please accept our apologies for the delay, but rest assured your games are on the way.
